Yes! We’re proud to offer Canadian-made options, including Jerico, a trusted Canadian manufacturer. Choosing Canadian-made not only supports local jobs and industries, but also reduces shipping distance and environmental impact.

How long do custom orders take?

Most orders are ready within 2 Weeks  once designs are finalized, but can take less or more time depending on how busy we are. Rush orders may be possible! Let us know your deadline when requesting a quote.

What’s the maximum size you can screent print?

Our maximum print area is typically 14” wide by 16” tall, which covers most front, back, and oversized clothing prints. We’ll help recommend the best print size for your design so it looks balanced and professional on all sizes of  clothing.

How does the screen printing process work?

Screen printing (or silk screening) uses ink pressed through a mesh stencil (your design on a screen) onto your garment. Once applied, the ink is “cured” using high heat so it bonds permanently to the fabric, ensuring the print won’t crack or fade. The curing process is what gives screen printing its long-lasting durability. Because each colour layer requires its own screen and curing, this method is best suited for a dozen or more items. It creates durable, vibrant designs that last and ensures a professional, high-quality finish every time.

What are the benefits of screen printing compared to other printing methods?

Screen printing is the gold standard for custom apparel because it offers:

Professional quality & feel – consistent results every time
Other methods like vinyl heat press or direct-to-garment (DTG) can be good for smaller or photographic runs, but screen printing remains the top choice for high-volume, long-lasting apparel.

How much does custom printing cost?

Pricing depends on quantity, number of ink colours, and garment type. As a guide, most t-shirt orders fall between $12 – $25 per shirt, depending on details. The best way to get an exact quote is to send us your design and order size through our online form.

Can I order just one custom t shirt?

Accepted Answer

Screen printing is best for bulk runs due to the initial setup process, so our minimum is 12 pieces. But if you only need one or two pieces, let us know  and we’ll point you toward some great local options.

Can I bring my own clothing for you to print on?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately we can’t accept customer-supplied garments. The reason is simple: our screen printing process requires specific fabrics and treatments to ensure the ink bonds properly and survives the curing process. If a garment hasn’t been pre-tested we can’t guarantee the finished quality.

Another key reason is consistency. In some orders, an extra garment might need to be added to cover misprints or mistakes that can happen during production. By sourcing everything through our suppliers, we can quickly replace or add items to keep your order on track without delays.

By using our trusted suppliers, we can ensure your order comes out consistent, professional, and built to last. Plus, you’ll get access to a wide range of proven brands like Bella+Canvas, Comfort Colours, Jerico, Gildan, and M&O with sizing, colours, and styles we know work great for screen printing. Let us know if there's a different brand you're looking for and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Can I mix t shirt sizes or clothing styles in one order?

Accepted Answer

Yes, no problem! As long as the design and ink colours stay the same, you can combine sizes and even mix t-shirts, hoodies, or tanks in one print run. Minimum total is 12 pieces.

Do you require a deposit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. To get your order moving, we require a 50% deposit upfront, with the remaining balance due at pickup or before shipping. This allows us to order garments and reserve press time for your project.

Do you offer bulk discounts?

Yes! The more you order, the lower the cost per shirt. For example, 12–24 shirts is one rate, while 50, 100, or more is low pricing per unit.

Some of you may remember us from the Saint John City Market and other local community markets, where we sold our own line of New Brunswick–inspired merchandise in person and online. We loved being part of that scene but decided to put all our energy into creating custom apparel. Sunnybank Print House focuses mainly on custom screen printing for local businesses, organizations, and events.
